What we store on your browser.

Two categories, full transparency. You decide.

Last updated: 24 April 2026

1. Summary

We use two types of browser storage: strictly necessary (security, routing, saving your consent choice) and analytics (opt-in — to measure what works). Nothing else. No ads, no remarketing, no third-party tracking pixels.

2. Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to run safely. We cannot technically offer the service without them, so they are not subject to consent under ePrivacy art. 5(3).

NameProviderPurposeDuration
oku-edge-consent ōku edge (localStorage) Stores your consent choice so the banner doesn't reappear on every page. 12 months
__cf_bm Cloudflare Bot Management — distinguishes humans from bots. Set when Cloudflare's edge network routes your request. 30 minutes
cf_clearance Cloudflare Issued after a browser challenge is passed, so you're not re-challenged on every page load. up to 1 year

Cloudflare cookies are set at the edge network level — they exist because the site is served and protected by Cloudflare. They do not read page content, do not identify you personally, and are never shared with advertising networks. More info: Cloudflare cookies reference.

3. Analytics (opt-in)

Only loaded after you click "accept" or enable the toggle in "customise". Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2 and IP anonymisation. No advertising features are enabled.

NameProviderPurposeDuration
_ga Google Analytics 4 Distinguishes unique visitors (anonymised). 2 years
_ga_XXXXXXXX Google Analytics 4 Persists session state for GA4 property. 2 years
